Course summary

The MSc Corporate Finance degree specialises in the theory and practice of corporate finance, one of the most popular sectors in financial services. The programme will provide you with the knowledge to successfully navigate the rapidly changing global landscape of business finance and is designed to prepare you for a wide range of careers in the financial sector, including investment banking, securities sales and trading, foreign exchange, hedge funds, private banking, credit products, financial and credit risk management and consultancy. The Corporate Finance degree will develop your corporate finance expertise to the highest level and focus on areas of corporate finance that have a major practical and theoretical significance such as investment analysis, valuation, optimal capital structure and mergers and acquisitions, derivatives, finance microstructure and taxation.

Entry requirements

A 2:2 or above at undergraduate level in in any subject. Candidates that do not currently meet the set entry requirements may also have the option to study the Graduate Diploma in Finance and Economics. Meeting the required grades on completion of this programme will provide a pathway to study MSc Corporate Finance.
