Course summary
This unique three-year degree focuses on the practical and theoretical aspects of international politics while developing and consolidating your French language skills. You will learn how different state, non-state, governmental and non-governmental actors perform international politics and how theories and methods can be used to understand their actions. You will also study cultural modules that will help you integrate into French life during and after your studies. Minor in French While international politics modules are taught in English, the minor is entirely delivered in French, which will help you consolidate your language skills, immerse yourself in the culture throughout and following your studies, and demonstrate your adaptability and international experience to future employers. Learning labs and field experience Learning Labs are three-hour sessions that will allow you to experiment with different study styles, work on group projects and develop research skills. Blending traditional seminars with fieldwork will provide you with a firm theoretical and practical foundation for understanding how international politics works. Boost your career prospects Some of our graduates enter sectors such as government, international governmental or non-governmental organisations, whilst others transfer skills gained during study into roles such as policy research, law, activism, campaigning or a wide range of opportunities in the non-profit or commercial fields.
