Mae’r cwrs Astudiaethau Plentyndod ac Ieuenctid a Chymraeg yn eich caniatáu i gyfuno dau faes sy’n ategu’i gilydd mewn ffyrdd cyffrous. Mae Astudiaethau Plentyndod ac Ieuenctid yn rhoi sylw i’r galw cyfredol am arbenigwyr cymwysedig a all weithio gyda phlant, pobl ifanc a’u teuluoedd mewn ystod o gyd-destunau, yn y gymuned ac mewn sefydliadau. Mewn modd tebyg, mae Cymraeg ym Mangor yn llawer mwy na chwrs gradd: mae'n brofiad diwylliannol cyflawn a fydd yn eich galluogi i chwarae rhan broffesiynol yng nghyffro creu Cymru wirioneddol ddwyieithog. Cewch ar y cwrs hwn gyfuniad o sylfaen academaidd gadarn ynghyd â dimensiwn ymarferol a gweithredol: y canlyniad yw cynhyrchu gweithwyr proffesiynol sy’n gallu ymdopi â heriau cymdeithas gyfoes a phrysur mewn gwlad ddwyieithog. This Astudiaethau Plentyndod ac Ieuenctid a Chymraeg (Childhood and Youth Studies and Welsh) course allows you to combine two areas that complement each other in exciting ways. Childhood and Youth Studies addresses the current demand for qualified specialists who can work with children, young people and their families in a range of contexts, in the community and in organisations. Studying Welsh at Bangor is a complete cultural experience that will enable you to play an exiting part in the creating a truly bilingual Wales. You will find on this course a combination of a solid academic base together with a practical and operational dimension: the result is to produce graduates who can cope with the challenges of a contemporary and busy society in a bilingual country. Please note: This course is taught through the medium of Welsh.

Rydym hefyd yn croesawu ceisiadau gan ymgeiswyr hŷn. We also welcome applications from mature learners. Note: - Applicants are required to undergo an enhanced DBS check for the child workforce including a check of the children’s barred list. -Applicants who have lived or worked outside the UK are also required to undertake a criminal records check in their countries of residence. - In lieu of Welsh A-level, grade B in an Arts or Humanities subject studied through the medium of Welsh (e.g. History, Geography, Religious Studies, French, German). International Candidates: school leaving qualifications that are equivalent to A levels/Level 3 and/or college diplomas are accepted from countries worldwide (subject to minimum English Language requirements), details at: www.bangor.ac.uk/international/applying/entryrequirements
