Our BSc (Hons) Business Economics with Foundation Year is designed to give you the ideal start to your university journey. The foundation year provides a supportive environment where you’ll develop the essential academic skills needed to succeed at degree level. You’ll build confidence in understanding business and economics, while gaining the tools to progress smoothly into the full honours programme. During the foundation year, you’ll explore introductory concepts in business, economics and management, alongside key skills in communication, problem-solving and data handling. This year is about preparing you for success: strengthening your analytical thinking, improving your academic writing and helping you adapt to university life. Once you progress to the main degree, you’ll deepen your economic understanding and analytical skills to innovate and lead in shaping a sustainable and inclusive global economy.
