This Masters in Investment Banking & Finance focuses on the key areas of banking and financial investment. You will develop an enhanced understanding of how financial markets operate, particularly in relation to the aims and operations of banking organisations and institutions. WHY THIS PROGRAMME

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE You will take four core courses and two optional course and complete a substantial independent piece of work, normally in the form of a dissertation. Core courses Corporate Finance and Investment Dissertation GCEFS Investment, Finance and Asset Pricing Modern Theory Of Banking And Finance Portfolio Analysis and Investment Optional courses Basic Econometrics Economic Fundamentals And Financial Markets Financial Markets, Securities and Derivatives Financial Services International Finance And Money Understanding Development: A Multidisciplinary Approach

Entry requirements

2.1 Hons (or non-UK equivalent) in Economics or Finance. Degrees in related discipline within Social Science will be accepted if with at least 4 credit bearing modules in Economics and/or Finance at an average grade of Pass. Only applications that meet or exceed our stated entry requirements will go forward for consideration. Any application that does not will be automatically rejected. Applicants will be made offers based on their relative performance compared to other applicants, taking into account both current GPA, or degree classification, and the relevance of an applicant’s academic background. Please note, applications that meet our minimum entry requirements may still be rejected, based on its score in comparison to other applications received during the same round. International students with academic qualifications below those required should contact our partner institution, Glasgow International College, who offer a range of pre-Masters courses.
