Entry requirements

Qualification requirements

Required subjects: For the Music major, A-level Music or Grade 6 Music Theory (through ABRSM examinations or equivalent). In addition, students with these qualifications wishing to pursue Music performance as a formal part of their studies and to receive individual tuition at the Royal Academy of Music will need to hold Grade 8 (ABRSM or equivalent) on their main instrument/voice by the end of their first year of study. There are no subject requirements for all other majors. Second-year major subjects are selected after enrolment onto the programme. Preferred subjects: None

If you are applying for deferred entry, to commence the following September, fees may be subject to change. All International applicants to Undergraduate programmes are required to pay a deposit of £2,000 against their first year’s tuition fee.
