Course summary

As environmental concerns become ever more pressing, there is an increasing need to understand how we can effectively conserve species, habitats and ecology. This Environmental Conservation course course gives a theoretical grounding in how populations and communities work and a practical understanding of the issues surrounding environmental conservation. We teach the skills needed by conservation professionals for monitoring habitats and species and we demonstrate the importance of social and economic factors in achieving successful conservation. This degree is professionally accredited by the Institution of Environmental Sciences.
