Modules

The MSc International Supply Chain and Logistics Management will be awarded on successful completion of 180 credits: 120 credits of compulsory taught modules as well as submission of either a Dissertation (60 credits) or an Action Research Project (60 credits). For the Postgraduate Certificate (PG Cert), students would be expected to complete 60 credits of taught modules (normally 1 Semester). For the Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) students would be expected to complete 120 credits of taught modules (normally 2 Semesters). Compulsory modules (20 credits each) Ethical Procurement and Sustainable Supply Chain Management Strategic Operations Management Resilient Supply Chain Leadership Research Methods for Effective Supply Chain Decision Making Supply Chain Analytics and Digital Competence Global Logistics and International Trade Select ONE research module (60 credits each) The research modules enable you to build your analytical and empirical research skills and carry out a substantive piece of independent research. The Action Research Project focusses on a contemporary issue within the Supply Chain Management or Logistics field and the Dissertation allows you to focus on a specialist area of your interest within the discipline. Assessment method

Our MSc International Supply Chain and Logistics Management uses a range of different assessment methods, including written coursework, poster, group presentation projects, portfolio analysis and reports. This approach allows you to demonstrate your competencies in a variety of formats, emphasising practical skills and strategic thinking.

Qualified teacher status (QTS)

To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:

Entry requirements

The programme is designed for business, management and engineering graduates or professionals working within a related field. Applicants should meet one of the following: • Have an honours degree (2.2 or above) in a management, engineering or business related area appropriate to the programme. • Have an honours degree (2.2 or above) in an alternative discipline area with relevant professional experience. • Have exceptional and extensive work experience in production, engineering, supply chain, operations or logistics management. International Applicants Students whose first language is not English will need to provide evidence of fluency to at least an IELTS 6.5 standard or equivalent.
