Full-time Year 1 Core modules:

  • Introduction to Teaching Vocabulary, Reading and Speaking – 30 credits
  • Introduction to Teaching Grammar, Writing and Listening – 30 credits
Optional modules:
  • Second Language Acquisition – 30 credits
  • Psychology of Language Learning and Teaching – 30 credits
  • World Englishes – 30 credits
  • Analysing, Evaluating and Writing Materials – 30 credits
  • Corpus Linguistics – 30 credits
  • Theory and Practice of TESOL – 30 credits
  • Dissertation/Major Project – 60 credits
Part time Year 1 Core modules:

Entry requirements

A second-class honours degree or equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications.


English language requirements
