Course summary

The MA Entrepreneurship: Fashion and Creative Industries provides a unique learning environment for students, introducing entrepreneurship and business-thinking specific to fashion and the creative industries. Students from varied backgrounds and disciplines are introduced to topics such as branding, marketing, business theory and practice, and business planning and finance at postgraduate level. This masters degree hones any existing transferable skills, while also allowing students to develop a valuable knowledge of the business of fashion and the creative industries. The course will draw upon the expertise of Condé Nast Publications and its wider network of partners in the fashion and creative industries, and students are encouraged to engage with relevant professionals and organisations. The course combines independent research with taught academic content, alongside talks and masterclasses from leading industry professionals. Students will become proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, thus enhancing their professional creative communication skills and facilitating the exchange of ideas. The Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design has a strong focus on preparation for industry. The course will explore opportunities for entrepreneurial fashion and creative start-ups, thus appealing to a range of students from different backgrounds.

Entry requirements

The standard entry requirements for this course are: An honours degree, preferably at 2:1 or above, or an equivalent EU/international qualification. You are not required to have a business concept to apply for this course. Applicants must be aged 18 or older on the first day of the course. Exceptional applicants who do not meet the standard entry requirements may still be considered through APEL if they can extensively demonstrate the skills and capacity necessary for academic study at postgraduate level. Sometimes experience is as beneficial as what is learnt in a classroom. The admissions and academic teams will consider applications that show exceptional strengths and alternative evidence, which may include: Work experience Non-accredited courses Extensive reading and research A brilliant, relevant and credible personal statement An exceptionally strong academic or professional reference OR a combination of these Each application will be considered on its own merit, although we cannot guarantee every applicant an offer. Additional fee information

Deposit Fee – Confirming a Place In order to confirm and secure a place on this course, applicants holding an offer from us must pay a non-refundable deposit of £3,000.00. Offers must be accepted, with the deposit payment made, within 2 weeks of the offer letter date. Paying Tuition Fees Once a place has been accepted and secured with a deposit, students will be required to settle their relevant tuition fees by 15th August in advance of the course start date. International students are required to pay their first instalment from 15th March in order to obtain a CAS for a Student Visa application – this instalment will be due immediately for offers accepted between 15th March and 15th August by international students. Please note that international students will be required by UKVI to prove that the full course fee amount is accessible to them (in addition to other amounts) before a Student Visa is granted. The total course fee (less the deposit amount) will be payable over 4 termly instalments under this arrangement.
