If you are curious about how things work and have a keen mind for applying what you learn to solve real-world problems, engineering is the perfect career for you. Develop specialist knowledge of the scientific concepts, design and methods relating to electrical and electronic engineering products, processes and systems. This course is accredited by the IET and InstMC. More information is available on the School of Engineering website. All Engineering students at Warwick develop an in-depth understanding of the classical principles of Engineering by following a general engineering programme for the first year. As a student on the Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree, you will continue to study the same modules as those on the Electronic Engineering programme during the second year except for the Design Project module which will be different. The later years of the degree cover power electronics, electrical machines, systems modelling and the operation and control of power systems. Electrical and Electronic Engineering graduates contribute to a variety of sectors and industries such as power electronics, electrical power generation, aerospace, automotive, marine engineering and a sustainable environment.
