As a student on our Film Making BA(Hons) degree, you’ll work in our state-of-the-art Stewart Film Studio, where you’ll have highly flexible access to filmmaking equipment and facilities. Assessment method

Teaching formats include lectures, seminars and workshops, newsdays, work-based learning and placements, project work, dissertations, one-on-one and group supervision, and digital learning. We use a variety of assessments, including video shorts, podcasts, newsroom days, audience research portfolios, essays, production pitches, data analytics, presentations, and dissertation.

Offers will be subject to a digital portfolio review, after which you will be invited to attend an Applicant Visit Day, at which you will have the opportunity to discuss and be given feedback on your portfolio. English language requirements

If your first language is not English, you will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification. The minimum for IELTS is 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent.
