This Business and Management degree provides you with a broad introduction to the fundamental principles of business and management in a rapidly changing, increasingly globalised world. Supported by practice-based interdisciplinary teaching and research, you’ll develop your business expertise alongside the practical and professional skills needed to effectively manage the challenging issues affecting organisations today. This extended version of our Master's in Business and Management offers you the opportunity to do an industry placement or work-based independent project. You'll be able to apply the skills and learning you develop on the first part of the course in a practical environment – enabling you to gain further insight into current business and management practice, enhance your industry networks, and further develop your professional career.

Modules

Our courses are designed to allow you to tailor your programme of study to your academic interests and career aspirations. You’ll take a mix of taught modules (core and optional) and complete a major dissertation/consultancy project.

Entry requirements

You'll normally have a good undergraduate honours degree in any academic subject. You may be considered without an undergraduate degree, if you can demonstrate considerable relevant experience. You may be asked to attend an interview. If English is not your first language, you'll need to provide evidence of proficiency in the English language. The Admissions Team assesses applications individually, but for postgraduate courses we're looking for an IELTS score of between 6.0-7.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component (Writing, Listening, Reading and Speaking).
