Course summary
This Masters will allow you to develop your understanding of the strategies and technologies in drug discovery, pre-clinical development, clinical trials and production. You will also develop a critical understanding of international drug registration procedures and an oversight of current trends in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical markets. You will have the option to focus your MSc on advanced pharmacology, pharmaceutical analysis, or pharmaceutics and drug design. Your final project or dissertation will allow you to demonstrate the depth of your knowledge by critically evaluating scientific data and relating your personal findings to those of other researchers.
Entry requirements
Applications are welcome from holders of a good Honours degree (2:2 or above) in one of the following subject areas: pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacy, biomedical scinces or related subjects. Alternative qualifications may be considered if supported by relevant experience.
