Course summary

Gain the clinical competencies necessary for independent practice as a Clinical Neuropsychologist. Experience the practice dimensions required for admission to the British Psychological Society Specialist Register in Clinical Neuropsychology (in conjunction with the Knowledge component that can be obtained via completion of the PgDip Clinical Neuropsychology). PROGRAMME STRUCTURE The PgCertificate only has one 60 credit course normally taken part time over two years. A range of learning and teaching approaches will be used including: Lectures, tutorials, clinical case discussion, online discussions, case report supervision. Core Course CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGY PRACTICE When combined with the PgDip Clinical Neuropsychology, this PgCert will provide eligibility for entry to the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.

Entry requirements

Applicants must have a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology degree and have achieved or be on track to achieve a MSc/PGDip Clinical Neuropsychology with grade C or above. The qualification in Clinical Psychology must confer eligibility for registration with the Health Care Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist. All applicants must be working in a relevant clinical setting. You are required to complete and submit an enrolment form with your application. Please see link below on our website.
