Course summary
Psychology is the scientific study of the behaviours of individuals and their mental processes. Psychology attempts to unravel what roles genes, biophysical and cultural factors play in behaviour. Sociology is the scientific study of the meaning and central characteristics of society. Sociology attempts to unpack the social relations that underpin human interactions, social inequality and diversity, social change and social welfare. Combining the study of both the individual and society, you will be well prepared for a wide range of careers.
