Course summary
Our dynamic, multi-disciplinary MA Creative Enterprise course has been tailored for individuals looking to apply their creative specialism within a freelance environment or start their own business. Suitable creative disciplines include film, interior design, music performance, photography, journalism, advertising, fashion design, fashion marketing, fashion textiles, graphic design, animation, illustration CGI and games development. This course uniquely reflects the changing creative industries, where innovation comes from disruption of the norm, bringing together the different creative disciplines to learn and work together to identify solutions and create new opportunities. Students on this course will enhance their skillsets by developing entrepreneurial skills to commercialise their creative practice, gain knowledge and experience in balancing creativity and commerciality, as well developing a portfolio of commercial work appropriate to their particular industry. This forward-thinking, dynamic course will offer highly motivated, passionate creatives the opportunity to innovate and commercialise ideas; collaborate and form creative networks; and produce industry ready outcomes. This multi-disciplinary programme is distinguished by the unique perspective of the collective from across various disciplines studying together. This will increase skills and knowledge of the creative industries as a whole, and support entrepreneurial endeavours, innovation and collaborative working across the sector. The programme is developed and delivered by professional industry experts, ensuring it is relevant to the constant changes in the global creative industries and preparing the students to enter their chosen field with confidence. The programme will be taught in blended on-line and traditional forms including individual tutorials, lectures, seminars, industry talks and visits as well as incorporating self-directed study. Following the programme, many students will choose to freelance or set up their own business, and they will connect with the UEL Creatives Agency for future opportunities.

Bachelor's degree with minimum Second Class (2:2) or equivalent with evidenced knowledge of the creative industries.
