This programme offers a high-quality course in equine bioveterinary sciences, combining the development of a thorough scientific understanding with the ability to apply it to the field and the equine industry. The course combines theory and practical skills. It covers all main equine bioveterinary science areas, such a Breeding and Reproduction Science, Nutrition, Performance, Equine Health, Diseases and Epidemiology, Veterinary Microbiology, Immunology and Pharmacology. This programme prepares graduates for careers in academic and industrial research, biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry in general. It offers a high-quality preparation for students aspiring to graduate entry to Veterinary Medicine.
