OPPORTUNITIES AND EXPERIENCES You can choose to take a year’s placement to enhance your credibility with prospective employers. You can also get involved with teams working on national student competitions – for example to design, build and drive energy efficient vehicles. CAREERS AND EMPLOYABILITY This degree prepares you for careers in mechanical engineering design, motorsport or automotive design and in applications of advanced materials. You can also progress to our MSc which meets all the academic requirements for Chartered Engineer status.
