Course summary

Robotics, advanced manufacturing, the internet-of-things, driverless vehicles and medical technologies – we aim to find solutions to real-world challenges. This course is for you if you have a physics or engineering background and wish to work in electronics-based industries. You’ll study in a dedicated MSc laboratory with industry-standard hardware and software. On this MSc, you’ll explore:

  • advanced analogue and digital circuit design
  • power electronics and electrical systems
  • control of electro-mechanical systems
  • digital signal processing
  • embedded systems
  • FPGA reconfigurable systems on chips
  • machine vision technologies.
Learning from experts in their fields, you’ll gain the electronic and electrical engineering knowledge necessary for a successful career. There’s a major skills shortage in these areas worldwide, making successful graduates highly employable.
