On this flexible programme, you will study in the UK's top department for linguistic research. You can select a pathway that suits your research and career plans. Our Linguistics MA also has a Research Practicum option, where you can take a placement with one of our staff.

Entry requirements
Upper second class honours (or overseas equivalent) in an undergraduate degree with a significant linguistics component is required. Proof of advanced proficiency in academic English will be required for applicants where English is not a native language (IELTS 7.0, with 7.0 in writing).
