- Study all aspects of human behaviour – how we learn, remember, co-ordinate our actions and interact with others.
- Explore theories behind reasons for cognitive differences between individuals, the history of these theories and the work of their proponents.
- Understand the biological bases for behaviour, memory, imagination, pain, emotion, perception, sense and everything in-between.
- Learn how our understanding of the mind has been enhanced by neuropsychology and how study the relationship between cognition, the brain and the rest of the nervous system.
- Become familiar with the history of social psychology and how thoughts, feelings and behaviour are influenced by environment
- Get practical experience via a work placement.
