You’ll spend the first year covering all aspects of marketing to find out where your passions and talents lie. How you will learn Our teaching methods will be varied, interactive and engaging. You’ll take part in lectures and seminars, individual and group-based practical assignments, visits to trade fairs, exhibitions and companies, with the opportunity to go on a placement or internship. Opportunities and experiences We’ll take you beyond the classroom, giving you opportunities to tackle real marketing projects for employers and undertake placements, internships, or even a semester of studying abroad. You’ll also hear from interesting guest speakers and we’ll draw on fascinating real world case studies to bring marketing concepts and principles to life. Careers and employability Marketing is now such a broad industry with a wide range of specialist roles, so these pathways enable you to build more in-depth skills in the particular area that interests you. Whichever pathway you choose, you will still gain a solid grounding in all of the key marketing disciplines, so you won't be closing any doors.
