In year 1, you will study four core modules: ƒ The business environment ƒ Marketing principles ƒ Accounting and finance principles ƒ Business project Then you will select an additional two modules from the following options: ƒ Entrepreneurial small business management ƒ Business law ƒ Introduction to microeconomics ƒ Introduction to macroeconomics ƒ Economic schools of thought ƒ Financial accounting ƒ Management and HR ƒ Enterprise and commercialisation In year 2, you will study four core modules: ƒ Business research project ƒ Work-based learning ƒ Organisations, culture, and behaviour ƒ 21st century business strategy Then you will select an additional two modules from the following options: ƒ The modern consumer ƒ Ethical brand management ƒ Responsible growth ƒ Paying for the state: tax, the individual and business ƒ Economics of public policy ƒ International trade ƒ Macroeconomic policy Transparency in finance ƒ Responsible management accounting ƒ Mechanical principles
Assessment method
A series of written and practical work is assessed by your lecturers and will determine your overall grade.
