Course summary
This interdisciplinary masters is taught by both the School of Computer Science and the School of Mathematical Sciences. You will become skilled and experienced in analysing large and complex data sets. This skillset and expertise is in-demand across a range of industries. You will also develop your professional and problem-solving skills to prepare you for a successful career in research or industry. You will complete your own research project in an area of data science that you choose. This is a great opportunity to align your research with your interests or career ambitions. You will have the opportunity to do your research project in collaboration with an industry partner or one of our own world-leading research groups. To help support our students, we offer an Excellence in Computer Science scholarship. There are three levels to the award which range from 10-50% off your tuition fees.
