Course summary

Take your place in the next generation of nuclear experts by joining our Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in SATURN (Skills And Training Underpinning a Renaissance in Nuclear). This collaborative CDT involving the Universities of Manchester, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield and Strathclyde will work towards building the skills base needed to support the UK's Net Zero targets.

International applicants

This course has a subject classification which requires students whose nationality is outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland to have an ATAS certificate, irrespective of country of residence at the point of application.

Applicants should have, or expect to obtain, a UK undergraduate honours degree or international equivalent, or a first degree with an additional master's degree or international equivalent.
