Course summary
This course is for all levels of leadership experience: future, aspiring, middle and senior leaders. This Master's degree will enable you to: Increase your employability and earning potential by becoming a Foundation Chartered Manager (fCMgr) alongside your Masters with us at with no extra cost or study Reignite your passion for learning and upskill yourself in the most effective ways to innovate improvements in your context Create educational improvement strategies with a solid evidence base behind you UEL's Master's degree in Leadership in Education will develop the critical thinking and leadership skills you require to drive change and improvement in your educational context. We tackle issues from current, educational policy to evidence-driven improvement approaches and educational research that you can use to drive change in your setting at any level of leadership. Credits and exit points: PG Cert (60), PG Dip (120), MA (180). Do you have credits already? We accept PGCEs (60 credits), NPQs (between 30-60 credits) and other relevant Master’s (Level 7) modules as credits towards your Masters in Leadership in Education. This reduces the length of study and cost. You are able to apply 60 credits in total.

Assessment method
Due to the practical nature of the course, there are no examinations. We assess you on your coursework for the PG Certificate and PG Diploma modules and on your dissertation for the award of MA. Each module assessment will typically be a single submission portfolio of 5,000 words or equivalent. The dissertation is 14,000 words.
