The BSc in Human and Social Sciences provides a unique opportunity to study psychology as a distinctive specialisation within the social sciences. It allows you to build up a range of skills and knowledge on issues such as social change, gender, class and ethnicity, whilst developing a critical understanding of psychology. In additions to modules in psychology and research methods, you will be able to choose from a range of modules in criminology, education, sociology and social policy. Distinctive features
- This is currently the only course of its type on offer in the United Kingdom.
- It is recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) as the basis for graduate membership - the starting point for a career in psychology.

We do not accept Critical Thinking, General Studies, Citizenship Studies, or other similar equivalent subjects. We will accept a combination of BTEC subjects, A-levels, and other qualifications, subject to the course specific grade and subject requirements.

All applicants are expected to have demonstrable English language skills. Most courses ask for GCSE English grade C/4 or equivalent, but some courses ask for GCSE English grade B/6 or equivalent.

Fees for entry in subsequent years are subject to increase and will be confirmed by the end of October in the year preceding your start date of your programme.
