How does human resource management and organisational leadership combine? The world of work is changing rapidly and so are the demands of human resource management. Our CIPD accredited Master’s course in Leadership and Human Resource Management is designed for aspiring human resource professionals who are looking to advance or switch to a career in human resource management. Our practically focused modules allow you to work on real-life case studies and learn from business specialists with industry experience. With a strong focus on the key developmental needs of the human resource industry, you’ll develop the essential transferable skills that are desired by global employers. This business Master’s course will provide you with the in depth, specialist knowledge and understanding of the key aspects of international human resource management required for a successful career in today’s modern and dynamic work environment. This business Master’s programme is developed with an emphasis on learning the most important industry concepts and is accredited by both The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and The Chartered Management Institute (CMI). This means that upon successful completion of your degree you will have the opportunity to apply for a CIPD certification and a CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership. You will learn from experienced business professionals in workshop-style classes to ensure you can benefit from greater interaction with your lecturer and network with fellow students. We will help you improve your skills and increase your future employability through a supportive, practical and challenging curriculum so that you’re ready to take your career to the next level. MSc Leadership and Human Resource Management with Professional Practice This course is offered as a 2-year full-time business master’s programme. Sharing the first year of study with the 1-year MSc Leadership and Human Resource Management, the 2-year programme benefits from a second year of Professional Practice that is specifically aimed at fostering the employment opportunities of students. Offering greater flexibility than a traditional Placement Year, our Professional Practice Year allows you to decide how to put your skills into practice. Choose between an academic dissertation, business plan, business or consultancy project, or a paid placement in industry, depending on the option that is best suited to your future career path. Assessment method

Assessments are designed to meet the programme and module learning outcomes both academically and professionally and are both formative and summative. The formative assessments include the preparation and feedback from seminars, workshops, tests and presentations. Summative assessments that contribute to the grade may include written assignment, group work/studies, project and possibly exams.

2:2 or above from a UK Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification(s) An English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or above, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
