Course summary
Have you ever sat in class and wondered, "When am I actually going to use this in the real world?" At Hult, we don’t believe in teaching students to memorize facts and theories that aren’t relevant to their future. Our program is designed to build the core skills and mindsets that are essential in every career and that every employer is looking to hire. You’ll be continuously assessed by your professors and peers on how well you’re developing these skills and mindsets, with your progress tracked and measured through an online dashboard. The Hult undergraduate degree spans four years, covering four modules per year. If you are graduating from a European high school education system, you can expect to graduate in three years or less. Complete four specialization modules in a discipline to graduate with a major, or complete two for a minor. Year 1:
- Core Module 1: Start-Up Challenge (Economics, Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship)
- Core Module 2: Social Impact Challenge (Accounting & Finance, Economics, Global Citizenship, Ethics, and Strategy)
- Core Module 3: Future-Proofing Challenge (Accounting & Finance, Computer Science, Entrepreneurship, Science and Technology, and Ethics)

International applicants
All the academic research shows that exams do not help students learn. They also do not reflect how people are assessed in the workplace, as you cannot assess someone’s practical skills or impact in a team through a written exam. Instead of large, single exams at the end of the year, students undergo a wide range of assessments—from reports to presentations, observed discussion meetings to business plans, pitches to prototypes, alongside more traditional coursework and projects.
