The Event Technology degree is the perfect choice for aspiring sound, video and lighting technicians. This course is focused on developing a range of technical skills required within the live events industry, while simultaneously allowing you to develop your own areas of specialism. Throughout your study, you will receive expert tuition and practical experience in the areas of audio engineering, lighting technology and video systems. You will also learn to understand how these systems will evolve in the coming years. Further modules in event design and live events management add to your professional skill set. As a BA (Hons) Event Technology student you will study directly alongside musicians and songwriters. In order to fully develop both technical and creative skill, Nexus ICA has built strong links with the Event Technology industry. Minimum three GCSEs including English Language at Grade 4 or above (Grade C or above if you studied previous to 2017) Prospective students will be required to undertake an interview to assess their suitability for the course. Interviews take place on Zoom.
