Psychology at Regent's University London - UCAS

Course summary

Psychology is the study of the mind and human behaviour. As a student of psychology, you’ll explore the nature and causes of human experience and investigate why people think, feel and act in certain ways. You'll gain a rich and diverse understanding of classical and contemporary topics in psychology, underpinned by scientific theory, research and current debates surrounding our rapidly evolving social, technological and cultural systems. You'll study in a highly tailored learning environment, where critical thinking, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of a creative and contemporary psychology curriculum. Based in London, you'll have plenty of opportunities to visit local sites and practices, and join industry placements – taking your learning into the real world. You'll work alongside internationally recognised psychologists and research-active academics, who will provide a high level of support and developmental feedback throughout. You'll emerge with the transferable knowledge, reflective skills and interpersonal confidence to make a positive difference – whether through onward postgraduate study; in creative, business, or human resource work environments; or through further training pathways towards a career as a psychology practitioner.

Assessment method

Your skills and knowledge will be assessed via presentations, group work, reflective writing, psychological formulations, practice intervention designs, field notes, theoretical essays and psychological enquiry-based reports.
