Our General Engineering degree builds a strong foundation in the fundamentals of Engineering, with a focus on areas key for the addressing the challenges of 21st Century. Experimental and practical skills are developed in tandem with mathematical Our General Engineering course will give you a holistic understanding of real-world engineering. You’ll be working in teams, taking on some of the world’s most complex problems. You'll develop your experimental and practical skills as well as mathematical and analytical approaches. Your communication, negotiation and practical skills will be developed through project-based learning. All to get you ready for your career in modern engineering. Module themes include sustainability, systems thinking, modelling and simulation, software and programming, engineering design and management and entrepreneurship. In your final year, you’ll complete a substantial individual project. Key benefits

If you are applying for deferred entry, to commence the following September, fees may be subject to change. All International applicants to Undergraduate programmes are required to pay a deposit of £2,000 against their first year’s tuition fee. This deposit is payable when you firmly accept an unconditional offer to study with us, and will be offset against your tuition fees when you join King’s.
