Improve your employability with practical and theoretical knowledge of computer science, ready for a career in industry. This course is designed to match the growing need for graduates who are trained in one discipline and also skilled in computer science. You’ll gain a strong foundation in programming, software development and contemporary techniques in computer science. You will also cover artificial intelligence (including machine learning), data structures and algorithms equipping you with problem-solving methodologies applicable to a wide array of industry settings. Our MSc Computer Science offers a 12-month intensive course without requiring a background in the field. You will develop employability skills, ready to pursue a career in industry. Entry requirements

You should have a first or strong second-class Bachelor’s honours degree or international equivalent. To apply for this course you may have an undergraduate degree in any subject, however you must demonstrate evidence of relevant quantitative skills (especially algebra and calculus) either through your degree study or by alternative means. Please note that this course may not be suitable for those with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science if there is significant overlap with your previous studies. We may make an offer based on a lower grade if you can provide evidence of your suitability for the degree.
