As well as receiving top-class lectures and seminars, you will be supported by personal tutors, module leaders and course leaders. In addition, guest speakers often deliver sessions to enrich your learning – these include experts from logistics companies and integrators involved in air transport, as well as aviation suppliers. We recognise roles in this field are hands-on – that’s why you’ll take part in simulated learning experiences throughout the course using our specialised facilities. You’ll also be able to use our library to support your studies, whether you’re looking for the resources you need or just a quiet place to study. You'll be able to join the Aviation Society where you’ll have the ability to attend a variety events and experiences. Some examples of what we’ve done in the past include tours of NATS, a Boeing Flight Simulator experience at CAE and a tour at easyJet. What will I study? From flights taking off to keeping everything moving on the ground, there is always something happening in the hustling and bustling airline and airport sectors. This course will equip you with the in-demand skills and knowledge to help you become part of this exciting world. There's a real need for knowledge and skills to meet business demands, and this course helps to put you in a great position to start a career in this rewarding industry. This course is also offered as four-year programmes, including an initial Foundation Year. The Foundation Year will allow you to develop your academic study skills and build confidence in your abilities, identifying your own strengths and development needs for progression onto an undergraduate degree. Our specialised simulation facilities allow our students to experience real-life airport scenarios, developing their abilities in airfield planning and operations, and crisis and emergency management. Assessment method
