Course summary

This programme focuses on three key pillars: venture capital; private markets; and FinTech start-ups. These three financial pillars are studied in combination; with comparisons and links drawn between them throughout the programme. The combination and contributions of these pillars will allow you to gain a more comprehensive understanding of this financial field.


Entry requirements

A minimum of an upper second-class Bachelor's degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) such as economics, finance, mathematics, physics, statistics or engineering. Relevant work experience in the finance industry is highly recommended but not essential. This includes (but is not limited to) experience as an analyst, risk or portfolio manager, trader or business entrepreneur. English level: Level 2. Please note that other than UCL's Pre-Masters and Pre-sessional English courses, the only tests accepted for entry to the Institute of Finance and Technology are IELTS and TOEFL.
