Course summary
Our PhD programmes allow students to explore an area of academic interest in substantial detail. The programmes are undertaken over three years, with a progression point at the end of year 1 and year 2. Throughout this time your supervisor(s) will guide you through the process of clarifying and completing your doctoral thesis. In addition, during the first year a range of subject-specific research training modules are available to support you through the exploratory phase. You can also apply for a distance learning variant of this PhD.
