How to apply

International applicants

This course has a subject classification which requires students whose nationality is outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland to have an ATAS certificate, irrespective of country of residence at the point of application.

Entry requirements

Applicants should be educated to Honours Degree level, with a minimum of a 2:2, in Mechanical Engineering, Technology or a closely related discipline. All first-degree qualifications in General Engineering and Physical Sciences (BEng and BSc) will be considered. Applicants who do not hold a recognised degree or an ordinary degree, maybe considered based on a minimum of three year relevant work experience. International Applicants: Your qualifications need to be deemed equivalent to the above entry requirements. English Language requirements are normally IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each element.

Non-native speakers should hold IELTS with an overall band score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each element.
