Course summary
Our Environmental Sciences BSc(Hons) with integrated foundation year degree, draws from geography, ecology, geology and biology to explore sustainability, conservation, pollution, earth systems and processes. With an extra year of integrated study at foundation level, this course opens up opportunities in the sciences if you don't hold the required qualifications to go straight on to the Environmental Sciences BSc(Hons) degree, want to change career or are returning to study. There is a strong emphasis on applied learning. You'll conduct fieldwork throughout the course, both overseas and in the coastal, fluvial, and downland our location provides. And you'll learn with researchers who are part of our Centre for Earth Observation Science.
