Course Topics You’ll study the foundations of business management, including business models from a broad variety of sectors. You’ll learn how to manage and respond to contemporary challenges – from the economic to the ethical – at local, national and global levels. You’ll graduate with skills in a wide range of business management activities, a hugely valuable specialism in law, and the real-world experience to develop your career. As the course progresses, you’ll learn how to integrate the principles of business management and law – from HR management to property and commercial law. You’ll develop your team-working skills and knowledge of how managers work to achieve organisational objectives across financial performance, business law, strategy and much more. Not only will you explore a broad range of theories and concepts, you’ll apply these in real-world business contexts, experiencing the changing nature of global business first-hand. You’ll understand how organisations work, the environments they operate in and the future considerations they have to keep in mind to ensure their success. Course Support Throughout your learning journey, you’ll experience a range of dedicated support, such as:

Applied learning We’ll prepare you for a position in industry or commerce as a technically-literate business professional. When you graduate, you’ll be able to demonstrate acumen in business management and methods of implementation. Work Placements You’ll have the opportunity to arrange a year-long work placement between your second and third years. Gaining real-world experience, you’ll develop your personal and professional skills while enhancing your career prospects when you graduate.

Additional fee information

Our tuition fee for UK students on full-time undergraduate degree courses in 2025/26 is £9,535 per year. These fees are regulated by the UK government and therefore subject to change in future years. During your placement year you will pay a reduced fee of £1,200. If you are studying an undergraduate course, postgraduate pre-registration course or postgraduate research course over more than one academic year then your tuition fees may increase in subsequent years in line with Government regulations or UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) published fees.
