Course Topics You’ll study the foundations of business management, including business models from a broad variety of sectors. You’ll learn how to manage and respond to contemporary challenges – from the economic to the ethical – at local, national and global levels. You’ll graduate with skills in a wide range of business management activities, a hugely valuable specialism in law, and the real-world experience to develop your career. As the course progresses, you’ll learn how to integrate the principles of business management and law – from HR management to property and commercial law. You’ll develop your team-working skills and knowledge of how managers work to achieve organisational objectives across financial performance, business law, strategy and much more. Not only will you explore a broad range of theories and concepts, you’ll apply these in real-world business contexts, experiencing the changing nature of global business first-hand. You’ll understand how organisations work, the environments they operate in and the future considerations they have to keep in mind to ensure their success. Applied learning We’ll prepare you for a position in industry or commerce as a technically-literate business professional. When you graduate, you’ll be able to demonstrate acumen in business management and methods of implementation. Work Placements You’ll have the opportunity to arrange a year-long work placement between your second and third years. Gaining real-world experience, you’ll develop your personal and professional skills while enhancing your career prospects when you graduate.
