Our exciting Electrical and Electronic Engineering HND will allow you to become anything but another cog in the machine. With the dual aim of preparing you for direct entry into employment and offering the opportunity to study further, our HND gives you everything you need to accelerate your engineering career.rol engineer, electronic design engineer or approvals/production engineer) and of offering the opportunity to enrol on top-up degrees. Envision yourself as an electrical and electronic engineer. Our HND covers multiple aspects of engineering, ensuring you gain the skills and experience needed to meet employer demands. You will acquire academic knowledge as well as practical engineering skills and specialist industry insight. You will explore a range of topics from lean manufacturing to electronic circuits as you acquire core engineering knowledge and develop specialist skills such as programming PLCs. You’ll also widen your understanding of current topics such as renewable energy and efficiency measures. We emphasise work experience and take pride in our practical opportunities. If you are not already in employment we will support you with finding your work placement, with the end goal of you moving into relevant employment after studying.

Entry requirements

Qualification requirements

GCSE Maths and English (C/4 grade or above), two relevant A-levels (grade D or above), relevant BTEC Level 3/National Diploma at MM or above. Industrial experience will also be considered. English: Level B2 (CEFR), PTE 51, IELTS 6 (no element lower than 5.5) or equivalent. T Levels: In a relevant subject.
