Assessment method
We assess most learning outcomes by individual coursework, including case studies and essays, with critical evaluation of processes or products, and evidence of research into a specified area. We are very experienced in assessing group work with a research profile in that area. Your assessment starts within a group, with a clear emphasis on process as well as product, but proceeds to your individual assessment by a variety of means. You are also assessed through an individual portfolio of technical work to a professional standard and a presentation to tutors on your research findings.
Entry requirements
Applicants should have a good honours degree (2.2 or above) in any subject or equivalent academic or professional qualifications or significant professional experience. Non-UK students must also meet the University's minimum English language requirements.
