Are you looking to join the multibillion-pound sports media and TV industry? Our MA Sports Media Production will give you the skills and knowledge needed to start your creative career. On our postgraduate Sports Media Production degree you'll work on live sports broadcasts, produce content for Sky TV and gain essential broadcast credits as you learn. You'll work in a fast-paced and practical environment, equipping you for work in sports broadcasting, entertainment and content creation. You'll have access to world-class production facilities including our UHD 4K multi-camera television studio, remote video podcast studio, virtual set and 4K editing booths. You'll also learn from professionals that have worked on thousands of sports fixtures as Camera Operators, Directors and Producers, to name a few. Our 4K production offices allow you to take control of your own learning space. They're equipped with editing facilities exclusively for the Sports Media Team. You'll be able to access meeting spaces, a development office, a remote PTZ research space and much more. At the University of Central Lancashire, we celebrated our 50th episode on Sky TV in 2024. Entry requirements
A 2:2 in a Television and Media Production related BA (Hons) degree from the UK or equivalent qualification Consideration will be given to alternative BA (equivalent) qualifications to applicants with creative industries’ work experience Applications from individuals with non-standard qualifications, relevant work or life experience will be considered The University will consider applications for prior learning (certificated or experiential) that fulfil some of the learning outcomes of a course for admission with credit to an appropriate point on that course Students applying for this programme must have a minimum level of proficiency equal to IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
