Course summary

Study Childhood, Youth & Communities at level 6 and graduate with a full honours degree. This one-year, work-based course, which follows on from our Foundation Degree, enables you to continue in paid employment or volunteering as you work towards this qualification. Whether you're already working in education, social care, or the voluntary sector, this flexible top-up degree helps you become a confident and impactful practitioner in community support, advocacy, and inclusion. What you'll learn

Home (UK) Fees: Home (UK) tuition fees for standard undergraduate degree and PGCE courses at Canterbury Christ Church University are currently set in line with the maximum tuition fee cap set by the UK Government. Canterbury Christ Church University expects the 2026/27 tuition fees for standard undergraduate degrees (excluding Foundation Year 0) and PGCE courses for Home students, to be set at the maximum tuition fee cap, currently £9,535. However, this is subject to any changes to the maximum tuition fee cap, or any other changes to regulated undergraduate tuition fees, that might be subsequently approved by Parliament for the 2026/27 academic year. International Tuition Fees (including EU fees): Undergraduate tuition fees for International students are not subject to the Government’s regulations on maximum tuition fees.
