Our department hosts the City Health Economics Centre (CHEC) and the London Health Economics Group (LHEG). Your studies will benefit from the expertise in both. By graduation you will have a sharpened understanding of health economics and its theoretical foundations, as well as improved abilities in analysis and modelling. You will be also be confident in applying economic evaluations and advanced quantitative methods to healthcare decision-making.
Entry requirements
We will consider all applications with a 2:2 (or international equivalent) or higher in a relevant subject. In addition to degree classification, we take into account other elements of the application such as supporting statement. References are optional but can help build a stronger application if you fall below the 2:2 requirement or have non-traditional qualifications. Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing or any other health science related discipline, does not require Economics.
