Students cover core sport science topics and coaching modules. After the grounding in theory provided at Level 4 you will now progress into practical understanding and the application of acquired theoretical knowledge to enhance coach effectiveness. Throughout the course specialised coaching modules are taken alongside optional sport science modules. In Year 3 you will complete, alongside other theoretical and practical modules, an extended research project. Advanced issues and research are covered through theoretical and laboratory-based work. Modules
