Course summary
Our International Business and Management with Professional Experience MSc is a two-year course that combines academic study with extended professional practice. As part of the course, you will study the same modules as our one-year MSc and undertake a placement or internship of at least 500 hours to gain industry experience, build connections and enhance your employment prospects. This course will help you advance your knowledge of management theory and practice and build the analytical, strategic and leadership skills needed for senior roles in today’s globally connected business environment. The course will also enable you to strengthen your critical thinking, analytical and communication capabilities, enabling you to make evidence-based decisions and solve complex business and management problems with confidence. The key areas of study range from Business Strategy, Sustainability, Branding and Marketing, Digital Technologies, Leadership and Managing People. You will explore how business challenges intersect with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, preparing you to lead responsibly and make a meaningful impact. Entry requirements
A minimum of a lower second class honours degree (2:2). Relevant degree disciplines include business studies, economics, geography, management, and operations research. However, students with qualifications in other disciplines, such as engineering, environmental sciences, the humanities and languages, are also encouraged to apply. Alternative professional qualifications with at least three years of relevant professional experience will also be considered. If your first language is not English, you should have an IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in each component. Applicants are required to submit one reference.
