Course summary

This MA is designed for graduates who don’t have a law degree. You’ll develop an in-depth knowledge of the English legal system. Course description This masters qualification covers the seven foundations of legal knowledge subjects as well as the skills associated with graduate legal work such as legal research. The seven foundations of legal knowledge subjects are:

  • criminal law
  • equity and trusts
  • law of the European Union
  • contract
  • tort
  • property/land law
  • public law
If you’re not a law graduate, or you have a law degree from a non common law jurisdiction, you’ll acquire a more in-depth knowledge of the law over a wide range of legal subjects. Overall IELTS score of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component, or equivalent.

Entry requirements
