We are currently going through a big technological change and digital growth in the Cyber Security and Networking sector. The College are excited to offer the Higher National Certificate in Digital Technologies (Cyber Security and Cloud Networking) course accredited by Pearson. The course will provide you with a flexible, unit-based structure that focuses on developing the practical, interpersonal and thinking skills you will need to succeed in employment and higher education. It will equip you with the knowledge, confidence and core skills required for a range of careers in digital technologies, including cyber security, software development, data analytics, networking, and change management. . Modules
The programme is designed to be studied full-time over one academic year of 32 weeks. This is equivalent to two days a week. There are two core units and you will then choose six optional units. Each unit has a value of 15 credits and completion of all eight will give you the required 120 credits to complete the award. ● All units are at Level 4. Assessment method
You will be assessed through a mixture of written assignments, group assessment, peer assessment, portfolio assessment and practice-related coursework. You will also be supported with a wide range of learning resources made available via HN Online content, including access to textbooks and articles. Support You will have a range of support made available to you, including academic and pastoral support, learning support and financial support which you can gain access to bursaries.
